Olly oversees Edge’s work on research, policy and practice. He is passionate about connecting researchers, policy makers and practitioners to learn from each other.

Before Edge, he spent twelve years at the Department for Education, most recently as Head of Apprenticeship Strategy. Olly was Specialist Adviser to the House of Lords Committee on Youth Unemployment and a Commissioner on the Independent Assessment Commission. Olly is based in Sheffield where he volunteers with schools and in scouting.
