Susan is our communications and media relations expert and she heads up the Education Comms Network. She has led on comms for a variety of organisations working in-house, as a consultant, and within agencies. Prior to working in education, Susan looked after global beauty brands, restaurants, and luxury hotels.
Susan grew up in Spain where she went to an international school. She went on to do a BTEC National Diploma in Travel and Tourism at Chichester College of Arts, Science, and Technology. With dreams of traveling the world as a hotel critic, she completed a BA (Hons) in International Tourism at the University of Brighton. Her first job in marketing was as a publicist for Michelin-starred chef, Jean-Christophe Novelli.
She is a parent governor at Shawley Community Primary Academy and sits on the board of Wivenhoe House Hotel. Her interests outside work include anything creative, yoga, and travel.
