30 November 2023 17:15 – 20:45
This special symposium celebrates the life and legacy of Professor John West-Burnham and will consider ways in which to take forward his central ideas and thinking, focused on the nature and role of community, compassion and leadership in schools.
The symposium will be chaired by Professor Dame Alison Peacock, while contributors include Maggie Farrar, CBE, Professor Mick Waters, and Clare Flintoff, CEO of Asset Trust, which John helped to establish and chaired for many years.
Tea and coffee will be available on arrival and the symposium will be followed by a drinks reception and networking time with many who came under his influence, wisdom and generosity of spirit.
John's work touched and benefited the lives of so many working in education today. If you are one of those, do join us for this special celebration, jointly organised by Schools of Tomorrow and the Edge Foundation.
