In early 2021 Edge published Rethinking Higher Education: Case studies for the 21st Century. In this report we discover how five universities are reimagining the traditional university campus and prioritising the holistic learning and development of its students in a different way; emphasising the development of student employability, making a clear link between theory and practice, and engaging meaningfully with external stakeholders.
The pandemic has allowed universities space to reflect on what works well and what not so well, and ultimately think why are we doing this? Is it important for our students? Edge revisits these forward-looking universities to find out from them what makes them stand out and how they are preparing their students for life in a very different 21st Century. In particular, in light of the challenges and changing practices presented by the pandemic.
