The Sheffield UTC Academy Trust has positioned itself as the main talent pipeline creator for the next generation of technicians, engineers, designers, healthcare, well-being and exercise professionals and industrial innovators. The curriculum in the Trust’s UTCs has been designed with this intent. Assembled and designed in collaboration with industry, healthcare providers, universities and professional elite sport organisations, the curriculum is both broad and balanced whilst being focused on the needs of the relevant specialists sectors. In addition, the curriculum holds the students at its heart, morally shaped to provide focus and purpose whilst raising aspiration.
