Edge no longer grant-funds projects, but this page shares information about those projects which are part of Edge’s legacy. Teach First received a grant of £50,000 in the 2016/17 Grant Fund to support their Careers and Employability initiative.

Education and Employers received a grant of £50,000 in the 2016/17 Edge Grant Fund to support development of Primary Futures, a programme designed to increase schools’ engagement with employee volunteers.

The Skills Builder Partnership received a grant of £90,000 in the 2018/19 Edge Grant Fund for the further development of the Skills Builder approach to Problem Based Learning (PBL), focussing on primary school age children.

Baysgarth School - Curriculum Development in North Lincolnshire

Baysgarth School received £35,000 from the Post Covid-19 Revival Fund to further develop their curriculum around the North Lincolnshire Employability Skills Framework.

Warwickshire College Group – The WCG Hub

Warwickshire College Group (WCG) received £46,173 from the Post Covid-19 Fund for their WCG Hub project.

Tower Hamlets EBP – Virtual Work Experience

Tower Hamlets Education Business Partnership (THEBP) received £24,250 from the Post Covid-19 Revival Fund to develop a “Virtual Work Experience” programme.

The Skills Builder Partnership – Teacher Training for Essential Skills Delivery

Building on the success of the Skills Builder Universal Framework, the Skills Builder Partnership received £50,000 from the Post Covid-19 Revival fund to develop a national training platform for teachers.

Activate Learning – Project Based Learning for Academic & Vocational learners

Activate Learning received a grant of £75,500 in the 2018/19 Edge Grant Fund for their development of a Project Based Learning (PBL) model which can be differentiated for academic and vocational learners.
