The Learner Profile Starter Kit has been developed from early work with pilot schools and colleges across the UK. As such it is intended to be a dynamic resource, growing as more schools join in and to explore Learner Profiles.
It includes:
- An introduction to Learner Profiles across the world
- An overview of the components and the Learner Profile Standard
- An introduction to Skills and Dispositions across the curriculum
- Learner Profile templates and examples in a variety of existing school-based platforms (Google and Microsoft)
- Video demos and presentations from schools about how they developed their profiles
- Lesson resources and teacher starter materials, tips and guidance
- Horizon scan of the commercial tech products available to buy
- Resources to support exploration of alternative forms of accreditation of learning, skills and achievements

Teachers and school/college leaders can also join the growing Community of Professional Practice which meets regularly, with a programme of CPDL. Free online sessions are aimed at educators and leaders who want to think through the pedagogies and practices needed to support the roll out of learner profiles.
