Students will investigate a UK engineering company called Tekmar. The project links the renewable energy sector in the UK to the GCSE Combined Science and GCSE Chemistry curriculum.
The project is built around the driving question “How can you build an offshore windfarm.” The project also has cross-curricula links with Geography, English Language, Mathematics and Science.
