Overview
These ten protocols have been recorded to give you an insight into some of the techniques you can use in the classroom to help students become more independent self-directed learners. The aim is to use the techniques outlined in each of the protocols as an aid to helping students engage actively in their learning. Using the protocols in the classroom will give students the techniques and methods they can utilise to support how they 'tackle' the project through for example research, building their learning and knowledge and presentations.
The protocols have been designed to specifically support teachers and lecturers directly to introduce the protocol and technique to them so that they can understand what the protocol's aim is and how it can be used practically in the classroom to support students learning.
