Description
Through this protocol students are given stems by the teacher, from which they look at resources or a piece of work. This protocol underpins the creation of beautiful work, ensuring students are given a mechanism by which to critique work they have been asked to critique, the focus being the work and not the person. Students use the formulae notice, wonder, praise and suggestions to help critique work which follows the work of Ron Berger - be kind, be specific, and be helpful when feeding back and critiquing. Through this process, the protocol is used to help students and teachers create the best 'work' that they can and underpins the culture of the organisation, as they are given the opportunity to reflect on their own and others' work to improve it.
