Students through the project are given different negligence scenarios.
The task – client letters/file notes are also actual pieces of drafting work which a legal executive or solicitor would carry out on a daily basis, so gives students a good idea of day to day work. This project covers Unit 1 - ADR and funding and Unit 3 - Tort law BTEC Law and the driving question is for students to ‘Advise your client based on the problem they have presented you with’.
There will be several scenarios given, so the driving question for each will be slightly different, depending on which firm (group) the students have been assigned to.
